Kansas State University and
Morris Hill Elementary in cooperation with Geary County
School District 475 have developed a partnership to
enhance the future of the teaching profession.
This program is called the Professional Development School.(PDS)
During their pre-professional coursework at KSU, college students work and develop lessons in the
classrooms of Morris Hill Elementary. These
experiences include Teacher Aiding, Block A Science and
Math, Block B Reading and Social Studies, and Teacher
Internship. These pre-professional students are
observed and evaluated by mentor classroom
teachers as well as faculty from
Kansas State University
College of Education personnel. If you choose
