The Student Council of Morris Hill Elementary sponsored by Mrs. Kathy Maxwell and
Mrs. Kelly Ballard have completed a School Service Project which has been felt around the world.  The Student Council placed a purchased book bag in each of the school's classrooms and asked students and parents to fill the bags with school supplies.  The supplies came in and now students in Iraq and Afghanistan will have the materials they need to learn.  See the link below to view pictures of the student council with their book bags and Col. Gary La Grange accepting the bags.  The student council also raised funds for postage by selling spirit materials each Thursday before school.  Below find a media advisory of USD 475's generous commitment to the project.
