Physical

to the students. These themes are designed so the
students will be able to learn fundamental skills they
will use throughout their life. Movement skills will
help enable the students to grow and develop as full,
functioning human beings in our society. This
curriculum does not focus on the traditional team
sports; rather it focuses on cooperation, socialization
and active lifetime fitness. The themes are:
Orientation, Locomotor, Ball Handling, Fitness,
Manipulatives, Striking, Rhythms, Integration, Tumbling,
and Special Events.
