Principal’s Corner

My name is Greg Lumb.  I have been the principal at Morris Hill for thirteen years.  Before joining the Morris Hill staff , I taught 5th Grade for five years at Custer Hill Elementary.  I enjoy my job considerably because I get to work with a great team of professionals in a positive environment.  But mostly, I enjoy working with kids.  It is a serious responsibility, but working with youngsters helps keep me young at heart!

 

ABOUT MY FAMILY

I have been married to my lovely and patient wife Deb for 26 years.  She has worked in our district for 18 years also.  She is the Athletic Department Secretary at Junction City High School.  So if anyone needs a trustworthy adult to check on their high schooler, just let us know.

 

My daughter Rachel is 23 years old and has just completed courses to be a nurse.  She has one child, Austin who is 5 years old and currently attends the Larry Dixon Center in the Early Reading Program.  Austin is our pride and joy and entertains us nightly.

 

My son Lucas is 20 years old and on a basketball scholarship at Coffeyville Community College. We enjoy traveling to his games. during the basketball season.
