This is my second year teaching 3rd grade at Morris Hill Elementary School.  I absolutely love my job and could not dream of doing anything else.  I am lucky to spend my days working with the great students, teachers, and parents of the Morris Hill family.

I am the oldest child of four kids in my family.  My sister, Jenna, is going to college and living in California.  My brother, Scott, plays basketball  and goes to school at Bethany College just down the road.  My littlest sister, Kelsey, is a junior in  high school and lives with my mom and dad in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado!  I miss them all so much and love the times that I get to see them!

I graduated from the Kansas State University (GO CATS!) in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  My area of concentration is English.  I look forward to continuing my learning and education as the years go by.

In my classroom, I believe an atmosphere of trust and respect creates the best learning environment.  Teaching and learning is the number one priority for the teachers and the students; and if we all work together, everyone will be able to do their job.  By using our Lifeskills and Lifelong Guidelines, our class will be a role model to all students at Morris Hill.  I believe that learning truly can be fun and you will see this when you walk into the doors of our class!
